Sourced from small, family-owned farms committed to sustainability, 20Four's matcha boasts a vibrant green color, sweet aroma, fine texture, and robust umami flavor with balanced bitterness, reminiscent of a well-balanced coffee experience but with a gentle, slow energy lift.

How to use

Sift: Start by sifting 1-2 teaspoons of matcha powder into a small bowl using a fine mesh sieve to ensure a smooth, lump-free consistency.

Warm the Bowl: Preheat your matcha bowl by rinsing it with hot water and drying it thoroughly. This helps maintain the temperature of the matcha for optimal flavor.

Add Water: Heat water to about 175°F (80°C) – just below boiling. Pour a small amount (about 2 ounces or 60 milliliters) into the matcha bowl to cover the powder.

Whisk: Using a bamboo whisk (chasen), briskly whisk the matcha and water in a zig-zag motion until the mixture is frothy and well combined. Focus on creating a smooth consistency without any clumps.

Enjoy: Once whisked, add the remaining hot water to the matcha bowl and stir gently. Your matcha is now ready to be enjoyed. Sip it slowly, savoring its rich flavor and the calm energy it provides.
